Step-by-Step Instructions for Filling the Shopify Product CSV & Sharing Media

1. Download the Template
Click this link to download the Shopify product CSV template:
https://help.shopify.com/csv/product_template.csv
Save the file to your computer.

2. Open the CSV File
Open the file using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet software that supports CSV.

3. Locate the Required Fields
Columns highlighted in light blue are required.
Examples include:
Handle – unique identifier for the product
Title – product name
Body (HTML) – product description
Vendor – your brand/company name
Type – product category/type
Price – selling price

4. Fill in the Product Details
Complete all required columns first.
Optional columns can be left blank if not applicable.
Make sure the information is accurate and consistent.

5. Add Product/Service Media
If you have direct links to product images or videos, put them in the appropriate column.
If you do not have links:
Use the product or service title as the image name.
Upload your images to a cloud storage folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).
Share the folder link in the CSV or with us via email.
Make sure each media file corresponds clearly to the right product/service.

6. Save the File Correctly
Save your file in CSV format + Your Business Name
Use a clear file name, e.g., VendorName_ProductList.csv.

7. Send the Completed CSV & Media Folder Link
Send the CSV file and the cloud folder link back to us via email or the agreed method.
